Your Responsibilities In this role as an Engineering Technician, you will focus primarily on supporting releasing new products into manufacturingIn addition, you will play a key role in developing new manufacturing processes and implementing process controlsYour responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
o Create and update technical documents and manage engineering change notices in Windchill and eMatrixo Support the qualification and implementation of process and design changeso Work collaboratively with different functions to support the release of new productso Develop and write assembly instructions for new productsWe are looking for Experience/Education:
o Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, plus three year of industry experience is preferredRequired Skills:
o Proficient technical writer with excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Word and Excel) o Self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills o Capable of using or being trained to use analytic tools, such as vision systems and measuring deviceso Ability to interface with others across the organization (engineers, operators, and management) Desired Skills/
Experience:
o Experience in a regulated environment o Lean manufacturing experience o Experience with the validation, documentation, and manufacturing of medical devices o Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Your Team o The Engineering team consists of 40 other engineers with diverse backgrounds and expertiseThe Engineering team works in close collaboration with Operations, R&D, Purchasing, and Q&R locally and across the globeThe fast-paced environment places emphasis on a first-time right approach, as such in-depth knowledge of product design, root-cause analysis, and regulatory compliance.
